# Listing your token

Vibe listings are permissionless. Create a pool, fund it, and a perpetuals market for your token can go live in minutes.

Vibe listings are permissionless. Anyone can launch a perpetuals market for any supported token, on any supported chain, by creating a pool and funding it.

There is no application and no listing committee. You deposit the token, the system validates it, and the market goes live — usually in minutes.

As the person who lists it, you are also the pool's first liquidity provider, so you earn a share of the fees from every trade on the market you created.

### Before you start

* A connected wallet holding the token you want to list.
* The token's **contract address** and the **chain** it lives on.
* At least **$5** worth of that token for the deposit.
* A little of the chain's **native gas token**, to pay for sending that deposit.
* Acceptance of the **Market Maker Terms & Conditions**, shown the first time you create a market.

Supported chains: **Solana, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum and Sonic**.

If your wallet has no Vibe account yet, you pick a username first.

### Your wallet is used twice, and only one costs money

These two steps are easy to confuse, so it is worth separating them before you start:

| Step | What it is | What it costs |
| ------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **The verification signature** | A message you sign to prove you control the wallet. It is an identity check. | **Nothing.** No transaction is broadcast and no gas is charged. |
| **The token transfer** | A real on-chain transfer of your token to the deposit address. | **The chain's network fee**, paid by you in that chain's native gas token. |

The signature is free — signing it moves nothing and cannot spend anything. The transfer is an ordinary transaction sent from your own wallet, so you need a small balance of the chain's own gas token to pay for it: SOL on Solana, ETH on Base and Arbitrum, BNB on BNB Smart Chain, and Sonic's native token on Sonic. That fee goes to the network, not to Vibe.

A wallet holding exactly $5 of the token and nothing else cannot complete a listing — it has nothing to pay the transfer fee with.

### Step 1 — Token details

<figure><img src="https://1059243772-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCr6LuvhRparZQQ69OnVT%2Fuploads%2FQdBBOr90Bcy356tDgdyq%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=bb4e7206-564a-4dee-9cf4-197b1911535a" alt=""><figcaption><p>Step 1-Token Details</p></figcaption></figure>

Choose the chain, then paste the token's contract address.

The app validates the address as you type and pulls in the token's details: name, ticker, price, market cap, liquidity, age, holders and its main DEX.

What can happen here:

* **Unsupported token** — the token cannot be listed. The form offers a way to get in touch.
* **A pool already exists** — you are offered **Deposit** or **View Pool** instead of creating a duplicate. Pools are unique per token *and* chain, so the same token on a different chain is a separate pool.
* **Low liquidity warning** — if the token's market-cap-to-liquidity ratio is high, the app warns you. Thin liquidity relative to market cap makes a token easier to manipulate, and listing it carries elevated risk.

### Step 2 — Pool settings

<figure><img src="https://1059243772-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCr6LuvhRparZQQ69OnVT%2Fuploads%2FrSbDbvYuXxRA6yoTCd3O%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=f63f44e2-7afd-4a51-9ad2-5cae24ff0294" alt=""><figcaption><p>Step 2- Pool Settings</p></figcaption></figure>

Two settings, both changeable later:

| Setting          | What it does                                                                                           | Default |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------- |
| **Buyback %** | Share of pool profit used to buy the token back and add it to liquidity. Presets: 10, 25, 33, 50, 100. | 50% |
| **Max Leverage** | Highest leverage offered to traders, 1x–20x.                                                           | 20x     |

These are your *preferences*, not fixed pool parameters. As other LPs deposit, the pool applies a deposit-weighted average of everyone's values. You can revise yours from this step, from **Your Pools**, or whenever you deposit again.

### Step 3 — Deposit

<figure><img src="https://1059243772-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCr6LuvhRparZQQ69OnVT%2Fuploads%2FL3XkXcq2QIJ0PF4DWw35%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=2871ab3e-e954-4ac8-a0e0-021be6fc4978" alt=""><figcaption><p>Step 3-Deposit</p></figcaption></figure>

Review the summary — token, chain, contract address, main DEX, price, buyback and max leverage — then fund the pool.

Funding a listing is a **deposit**, and it makes you a liquidity provider on the same terms as anyone who deposits later. That includes the way out:

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Your listing deposit is subject to the \~14-day withdrawal cooldown.** Once the pool is live, that money is liquidity — taking it back out means requesting a withdrawal and waiting roughly 14 days for it to settle. Do not fund a listing with money you may need sooner. See [Withdrawing from a pool](https://docs.vibe.trading/pools/withdrawing-from-a-pool).
{% endhint %}

That cooldown applies to a pool that reached **live**. A listing that never got there — rejected, or expired — is recovered through **Refund** instead, which is a separate path with its own rules and no 14-day wait. See [Pool statuses and troubleshooting](https://docs.vibe.trading/pools/pool-statuses-and-troubleshooting).

1. Copy the **deposit address** shown, or scan the QR code.
2. Send at least **$5** worth of the token from your own wallet.
3. Acknowledge that **$1 of the token is swapped instantly** to cover pool initialisation fees.
4. Select the confirm button.

The app detects the deposit automatically and starts validation.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Send only the token shown, on the chain shown. Copy the address from the app, never from a screenshot or a message. Transfers to the wrong address or the wrong chain cannot be recovered.
{% endhint %}

#### How the $1 swap affects what you send

The **$5 minimum is measured on what you send**, not on what survives the swap. The $1 comes out of that deposit rather than being charged on top of it — so funding a pool with exactly $5 leaves roughly **$4 working as liquidity**.

| You send | $1 initialisation swap | Roughly what backs the pool |
| -------------- | ---------------------- | --------------------------- |
| $5 (the floor) | −$1                    | \~$4                        |
| $20            | −$1                    | \~$19                       |
| $100           | −$1                    | \~$99                       |

The practical consequence: the $1 is a flat cost, so it weighs on a minimum deposit far more heavily than on a serious one — a fifth of a $5 listing, a hundredth of a $100 one. If you are listing a token you actually want traded, fund it well above the floor. Your share of the pool, and your share of its fees, is set by what is left after the swap.

### Validation

<figure><img src="https://1059243772-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCr6LuvhRparZQQ69OnVT%2Fuploads%2FdAyWTe8zLRH1Y2vLbIaU%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=40a9bedd-8c85-4393-9f8d-1082afbe0fb6" alt=""><figcaption><p>Validating Token</p></figcaption></figure>

Once your deposit lands, the token enters validation. Most listings finish in minutes, but liquidity, routing and market conditions can make it take longer. Retries are handled automatically — you only see the outcome, not the individual attempts.

<figure><img src="https://1059243772-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCr6LuvhRparZQQ69OnVT%2Fuploads%2F1AsRAoZCdOpMLkycybHP%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=8a6fba01-634f-4c1f-b528-d60061bd6ed8" alt=""><figcaption><p>In Progress</p></figcaption></figure>

You can close the window at any time. Validation continues in the background, and you can follow it in **Your Pools → In Progress**. If you leave the page, a notification tells you when the pool resolves.

Outcomes:

| Outcome | What it means | What you can do |
| ------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Token approved** | The pool is live and tradeable. | Trade it, share it, add liquidity. |
| **Deposit too low** | The deposit did not reach the $5 minimum. | Top up from the same modal; validation resumes. |
| **Expired** | Automatic attempts finished without a result. This does not necessarily mean the token is invalid. | **Retry** the listing manually, or **Refund** your deposit. |
| **Rejected** | Terminal — a tax token, or manual retries exhausted. | Request a **Refund**, and open a Discord ticket. |

See [Pool statuses and troubleshooting](https://docs.vibe.trading/pools/pool-statuses-and-troubleshooting) for what each status means and how to recover.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Tax tokens cannot be listed.** A token that takes a fee on transfer fails the swap-balance check and is rejected outright. Retrying will not help; request a refund instead.
{% endhint %}

### After your pool is live

* It appears in **Discover** for every user.
* Your position shows in **Your Pools** with your deposit, share, rewards and APR.
* You can add a project brand layer — banner, logo, description, website, socials — via [Add Token Info](https://docs.vibe.trading/more-info/add-token-info).
* You can adjust your buyback and leverage preferences at any time.

### Tips

* List on the chain where the token's real liquidity sits — that is where the price feed and buybacks work best.
* Deposit more than the bare $5 minimum if you want a meaningful share of the pool's rewards.
* A pool with no traders earns nothing. Tell your community it is live.
* Adding token info makes a market look legitimate to traders browsing Discover.
