# Rewards and claiming

Liquidity providers earn a share of trading fees in USDC. Rewards accrue continuously, are recorded as daily snapshots, and can be claimed into a VibeCaps sub-account at any time.

Liquidity providers earn a share of the fees traders pay on the pool's market. Rewards are paid in **USDC**, accrue continuously, and are yours to claim whenever you like.

### How rewards accrue

Two things happen at different speeds, and most confusion about pool rewards comes from mixing them up.

* **Earning is continuous.** Every trade opened or closed against the pool generates fees, and a share goes to the pool's LPs in proportion to each LP's share of the pool. There is no cycle to wait for and no epoch to sit through — your claimable balance grows as the market trades.
* **Reporting is daily.** Those earnings are written down as one **snapshot per day**. The reward charts, your reward history and the 24H / 30D figures all read from those snapshots.

So a reward you earned an hour ago is real, and claimable, before it shows up as a point on any chart. A flat chart for today does not mean a flat day — it means today has not been written down yet.

Recording earnings by day has a second useful consequence: **claiming never rewrites your history.** The snapshots say what you earned on each day regardless of when, or whether, you claimed it.

Rewards are entirely separate from your deposit. Claiming does not reduce your position in the pool, and it does not start a withdrawal.

### Reading your rewards

In **Your Pools**, each row shows **Rewards** — what is currently claimable — alongside **Your Share** and **Your APR**.

On a pool's detail page:

* The **Claimable Rewards** card shows what you can claim right now, with a History icon that opens your day-by-day reward record for that pool.
* The chart card's **Rewards** tab plots the pool's daily rewards, with a 30-day headline figure above it. Switch between **Pool Performance** and **Your Performance** to compare the pool's rewards against your own.

### APR and APY

APR estimates your yearly yield from the pool's trading fees. The app shows several windows because a single number hides too much:

| Window | Use it for |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------- |
| **24H APR** | What the pool is earning right now. |
| **30D APR / 30D APY** | Whether that rate has held up over a month. |
| **Total APR / Lifetime** | The pool's full history since listing. |

A high 24H APR against a low 30D APR usually means one busy day, not a durable rate. Read them together.

### How to claim

**Claimed rewards go to a VibeCaps sub-account, not back to your wallet.** Pools are a VibeCaps product, so the USDC lands inside Vibe as trading collateral you can use immediately. It does not arrive in the wallet you deposited the pool's token from, and claiming is not a withdrawal to an external address. Moving it out of Vibe is a separate, account-level withdrawal afterwards.

You pick which sub-account receives it as part of the claim, so decide that before you start:

1. Open **Your Pools**, or the pool's detail page.
2. Select **Claim** on the pool you want to claim from.
3. Choose the **VibeCaps sub-account** that should receive the USDC. The picker shows each account's balance and unrealized PNL to help you choose.
4. Confirm.

The USDC lands in the sub-account you picked, ready to trade with immediately.

### Claiming from every pool at once

The **Claimable Rewards** card on the Your Pools overview totals what you can claim across all your pools. Select **Claim All** to sweep them into a single sub-account in one pass.

If some pools succeed and others fail, the app tells you which ones failed. Retry those individually.

### Your reward history

Two different records describe what you have earned, and they do not cover the same ground:

| Where you look | What it actually covers |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Reward charts** and **Rewards history** (the History icon on the Claimable Rewards card) | Daily snapshots from roughly the **last 18 days** only. |
| The pool detail page's **Claims** tab | **Every claim you have ever made** from that pool. No window, no expiry. |

**Claims is the complete record.** Claims are stored independently of the daily snapshots, so they survive well past the point where the charts stop reaching. If you want to know what a pool has actually paid you since you deposited, read Claims — not the charts.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Reward charts are not a lifetime history, and a flat chart is not proof of nothing earned.** The daily reward series returns roughly the last 18 days. The Daily / Monthly / Yearly selector filters the points already returned; it cannot reach further back than the window itself.

A pool that earned months ago and has been quiet since therefore reads as zero across the whole chart, even with real USDC claimed from it. When the snapshots hold nothing, the Rewards history modal falls back to your Claims record so the history you can prove is never hidden. Claim rows are labelled as claims: one row is one claim event, not a day's earnings.
{% endhint %}

### When Claim is greyed out

Claim is disabled when a pool has no claimable reward. It is also disabled when the app cannot read your reward at all — those two cases look different on purpose:

* **No reward yet** — the amount shows as `$0` or `—`. Nothing to claim.
* **Reward could not be loaded** — the amount shows as **Unavailable** with a tooltip. This does *not* mean the pool earned nothing. Refresh and try again.

If Withdraw works but Claim stays dead, it is usually the second case. Refresh first; if it persists, raise it with the team on Discord.

### Tips

* Claim into whichever sub-account you actually trade from — the USDC is usable as collateral straight away.
* There is no deadline. Unclaimed rewards keep accruing and are not lost.
* A delisted pool can still hold claimable rewards. Claim them before you finish withdrawing.
